i'm almondine, the wretched and unwilling webmaster of this page.
just kidding, no one is holding a gun and forcing me to learn to code.
in my spare time i like to try my hand at useless hobbies and ponder
answerless questions.

A: i'm a designer at flickr. yes, it still exists!

Q: where are you from?
A: i'm mexican, but i currently live in chicago, illinois, USA.

Q: is your name really almondine?
A: no, i wish! almondine is a pen name i chose for myself
in high school. it's a reference to this book that really
had an impact on me as a child. almondine is a dog.
